Josie Parkinson is a British comedian based in Berlin, Germany. (She says “hallo!”) Josie has been performing stand-up comedy for over five years in the UK and Germany and has been featured in Der Spiegel. She is known for her frenetic and vulnerable style, homemade props and costumes, and also stunning beauty she hopes. In 2018, Josie founded the beloved weekly open mic SAUCE to create a regular space for comedians from marginalised communities to try out new material. 

Since 2020, she has been developing one-woman show Josie Parkinson Is Not A Sex Robot Anymore, which has packed the Comedy Cafe Berlin theatre every time it has been performed there. In 2022, Josie began studying directing at filmArche, returning to her filmmaking and acting roots, and giving her more to play with in her comedy. This is making her very happy.

She is currently developing a new high-concept monthly comedy show called OBFUSCATE! with Matthew Liam Healy with the first show taking place at art gallery Neon Kunst in April 2023.
